I discovered the joy of writing only fairly recently. About a year and a half ago, in 2003 I wrote my first ever poem. It was done for a bit of a laugh on a message board that I frequented at the time. After that I wrote another few poems but it wasn't till December 2004, that I started taking the art more seriously. Story writing came even later. My first story since leaving school, The Blanket, was written in February 2005.
My daughter Hayley is a much better writer than I was at her age and she writes wonderful,imaginative descriptive stories (of course I can't help being biased, I'm her mother after all)
Claire is the artist of the family and finds art a wonderful way of expressing her creativity and a relaxing contrast to Maths and Science.
